Delmer and Myrtle Ferguson

Delmer Ernest Delmer, 83, a resident of Albany and formerly of Dallas died Saturday June 10, 2006. He was born on Sept 16, 1922 in Falls City, Oregon one of five sons born to Chauncy and LaVerne Meyers Ferguson. He met Myrtle Reeves, who moved from Iowa to Falls City while in high school. They married on October 5, 1942 in San Diego, California, just one year before going into military service. Delmer served in the Army Air Corp from 1943-1946 and achieved the rank of sergeant. He worked for Boise Cascade for twenty plus years as head Sanderman in Valsetz. Delmer and Myrtle moved from Falls City to Dallas in the early 1980s. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife Myrtle on May 26, 1996.
