Dale Hunter Coburn

Lifelong area resident and avid fisherman Dale Hunter Coburn, 69, of Kelso died April 19, 2002. He was born Sept. 8, 1932, in Martinez, Calif., to Roy and Elma (Larabee) Coburn. He served four years in the Navy and 19 years in the Navy reserve. Mr. Coburn worked in the Weyerhaeuser Co. pulp division as a steam engineer for 39 years, retiring in 1993. His favorite place to be was in a boat with a fishing pole in his hand. He’ll be remembered for his sense of humor and devotion to his family.
