Freda Marguerite Dickinson, born March 21,1918. In her junior year she boarded with the Crayne family in Moorcroft and went to Moorcroft High. She and Clayton Crayne fell in love, and they were married August 21, 1934.
Clayton Crayne was born December 19, 1913 in Moorcroft, Wyoming to Franklin and Ida Mae Crayne. Clayton worked in the Vancouver shipyards during WWII, then owned a store in Falls City, Oregon, then got a job at Weyerhaeuser in Longview and moved to Kelso, Washington. After a severe industrial accident, stopped working at Weyerhaeuser and he started a chicken farm and sold eggs by the thousands!
Their greatest pleasure was their family. She enjoyed playing cards, was a master crocheter, and was a fabulous cook, renowned for her maple bars and cinnamon rolls. He received great pleasure from his woodworking, gardening, and fishing.
Clayton Crayne passed away in January 1998.
Marguerite passed away on February 20, 2000.
