W. Dana McPherren was born September 22, 1896 in Geneva, Nebraska. After Mattie died he remarried. He and his son would often visit Mattie’s relatives at Laverne Ferguson’s house. Dana died on May 9, 1975 at age 78 in Cornelius, Oregon.
